bigstockphoto_Mixed_Sushi_2834965.jpgThis journey is for people who love to eat, drink and travel and wish to venture beyond the familiar sushi and sake perception of Japanese food culture.

No matter how much you’ve eaten Japanese cuisine at home, you’ll discover considerably more taste possibilities in Japan itself.

To eat and dine whilst travelling through Japan allows for an appreciation and understanding of the way in which the Japanese culture is expressed through food. Nothing in Japanese cuisine happens by chance or accident – everything has an underlying meaning from the garnish through to the distinct shape of the dish in which it is served.

Japan Image 44.jpgUnashamedly visual, the essential idea of Japanese cuisine is to enhance the natural taste of the raw product while inspiring to create harmony through colour, shape and texture. You will without doubt be intrigued by the numerous elements that the Japanese use throughout the total dinning experience.

This tour allows you to embrace the skills used in a Japanese kitchen and also sample some of the unique raw produce whilst exploring the local sights of this astonishing land.
